My stand alone app icon on Mac OS has always been the default icon with the ruler making an "A." Is that how it's suppose to be?

Can someone tell me how to get BiTimbral working with the upper and lower voices? I actually have it working on some patches so I copy and paste it if I know ahead of time. But when I have a patch and decide to use it as BiTimbral, I have trouble getting it to work. I've even taken pics of the patches that it works on and tried to mimick the settings. What am I missing?

The app doesn't work in MPC software. I know it hasn't been claimed to, I suppose consider it a request. It would be nice.

I have yet to be able to load a single patch after saving bank works fine. Is there a particular way to do it?

I am working on an update for the VST-AU MKS-80 Editor very soon. I am aware of the icon not showing up. Please take a look through the user manual to see how the editor functions and handles the 2 parts. There is a button in the GUI to switch which part you are editing.

The software is not likely to work with hardware that is not a PC (ie. Maschine, MPC, etc.) because of accessing the MIDI ports in a different way than the host (It has to be this way so the editor sends and receives proper sysex information (plug-ins do not handle sysex well when data goes through the DAW host, which is why the editors have a 'direct' connection to the midi port for the synth).

Please contact me directly via email for specific support.

Thank you,

Thanks for the response. The AU actually does work in the MPC software now, after their latest update. Before the plug GUI would just show white. I hadn't tried since updating MPC, tried last night and it works fine. The only downfall was the last update of MPC made it 64bit, but it can be opened in 32 as well. I'm glad to hear that development is still going. My next question would be is 64bit something that you guys are working on?

As far as the BiTimbral functionality, I'll go back to the manual and try to iron that out. I know upper and lower control the two different parts. It's the setting to tell the synth to be BiTimbral that I'm having issues with. I think it lies in the Patch switch where the options are "whole" "split1" "split2" and "dual". In one patch I have it working Upper is on Dual and Lower is on Split2 and BiTimbral works. But there's got to be more to it cause I set another patch the same way and it doesn't work the same.

I'm very interested in what might be in store with the next update. Also it seems that having the patch manager open and/or choosing patches from patch manger yields unexpected results. It's a shame there's not more activity on the forum for this product. I don't have $25 to give Rekon any time I need product support.

The next update will have 32 and 64 bit versions, a lot of bug fixes, and and all new GUI that is more similar to the newer plug-ins (VST-AU Mopho Editor, Alpha JUNO Editor, etc.). I will take a look at the bi-timbral functions once i get there.

I do not know how the software will work on MPC software, nor do I list it as a supported host. I am likely not going to get that hardware/software just to test things out either. The software will work on the DAW's that are listed as supported.

Thank you,
