Hi,

Will it be possible (for the futur update) to play more than one sound at a time (with different midi channel) with multiple instances of the vst in different tracks in ableton Live ?

The VST-AU Virus Editor will handle a single patch on the Virus. You can use more than one instance and assign each one its own MIDI channel if you want to take advantage of more than one channel at once.

Hi, I am currently trying to do this in Live but I can't seem to find how to change the midi channel the VST sends to the virus.

I can only get it to play on channel 1.

Any suggestions?

Hi Philip,
At the moment Multi support isn't there yet. I did start with implementing it, but problems arose and I settled on a working single mode editor. Multiple instances of the plug-in will not work because the first instance will always have a hold on the MIDI ports, and subsequent instances will not be able to use the same MIDI port.

However, I will be adding Multi support into the next version update using the same Multi framework I used for the VST-AU Blofeld Editor.
